Here are a few pictures of our guest rooms.
Teddy Roosevelt Suite
The Teddy Roosevelt Suite is so-called because we believe Teddy Roosevelt spent a night in the room. Roosevelt and Samuel Stevens (the first owner) were friends and Roosevelt did visit Charleston several times according to local historian Harry Brawley. This spacious suite includes a queen-sized bed in the circular tower bedroom. There is also a small balcony off this room. The sitting room for this suite is called the Venus Room after the glazed tile relief surrounding the hearth. A spacious private bathroom adjoins the Venus Room.
Diana Room
The Diana Room is one of the largest rooms on the second floor and is named after the glazed tile relief around the hearth. This room features a private bath and a three - window bay overlooking the north yard and side patio. This room has an antique drop-leaf table which is perfect for laptops. There is plenty of room to spread out here in a room with ample morning light.
